What exactly does Affordable Study Consults do for me?
We walk with you from the first conversation to your first week on campus. That includes career counselling and course selection, choosing a destination and university, preparing and submitting your admission application, guiding you through the visa and travel process, and briefing you before departure and after you arrive. For students heading to Germany, we also run German language classes and prepare you for the required exams in-house. In short, you deal with one team instead of chasing a university, an embassy, a language school and a travel agent separately.
Which countries can you place me in?
We currently support applications to Germany, the UK, Canada, the USA, Poland, Cyprus, India and Switzerland. Each destination page on this site sets out the typical courses, costs and requirements for that country. If you already know where you want to go, start there. If you don’t, book a counselling session with us and we’ll match a destination to your budget, your grades and the career you’re aiming for.
Do I need to speak German to study in Germany?
For most German-taught programmes, yes. And this is where many applicants get stuck. Public universities in Germany charge little or no tuition, but they will ask for proof of German at the level your course requires, and the visa process will ask for the same. We run German language classes and exam preparation as part of our services, so you can build the language while your application is in progress rather than losing an intake waiting for it. A number of English-taught programmes are also available, and we’ll tell you honestly which route is realistic for you.
What are your fees, and what do I pay for?
Costs fall into two parts. First, there are third-party costs that go to other institutions, not to us: university application fees, visa fees, flights, and proof-of-funds requirements where the destination demands it. Second, there is our agency fee for the counselling, application handling and support we provide. We tell you the full breakdown before you commit to anything, so there are no surprises mid-process. Does your support stop once I get my visa?
No. We brief you before you travel and again once you land, covering accommodation, registration, banking, transport and what to expect in your first weeks.
